Adobe Flash Professional software is the most advanced authoring environment for creating rich, interactive content for digital, web, and mobile platforms. Create interactive websites, rich media advertisements, instructional media, presentations, games, and more. Depend on Flash and Adobe Flash Player to ensure your content reaches the widest possible audience.

Our Introduction to ActionScript 3 training course provides those with some experience of ActionScript programming with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need to develop visually rich and interactive content for websites, CD-ROMS and standalone delivery computers such as computer based training packages or presentations.

This course explores the essential ActionScript 3 (AS3) features required to put visually rich and interactive content together using Flash. Delegates will use AS3 extensively on this course with very little reliance upon the author time graphics tools such as pen, line, circle and text.

This course can also serve as a useful migration course for those moving from AS2 to AS3.

If new to Flash you may be interested in our 2 day Flash CS4 Essentials course. If completely new to ActionScript programming (and if you have no previous programming experience), we'd recommend that the 1 day ActionScript Primer course is completed first.
