Simon Crompton - MDes(RCA), BSc(Hons), DIC, CertEd - Managing Director
Simon studied at Brunel University and graduated with an Engineering Degree and qualified as a teacher 1986. A further two years of post-graduate study in Industrial Design Engineering was undertaken Imperial College of Science and Technology and the Royal College of Art in London – a fellow student on the course being Jane McNeill.
In 1998 Simon joined DCA Design Consultants as a Design Engineer,
Associate and finally Senior Associate. Simon was closely involved
with the introduction of 3D CAD tools into DCA in the early 90s and
well as working on a wide range of Design Projects.
Video and new media became an important aspect of design communication
- it was at this point Symbiosis was formed. Over the past 15 years
Symbiosis has provided consultancy, training and supply of specialist
equipment into the corporate and video industries. In 2005 Symbiosis.eu
distribution was formed to give manufacturers a coherent route to
market for software and hardware products.

Today, Symbiosis exists as two core activities – Symbiosis Training - our authorised Apple and Adobe training centre, and Symbiosis Distribution .
Since our formation, Symbiosis has remained in joint and equal ownership by Simon Crompton and Jane McNeill .
